Dear Automotive Community,

It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the 3rd European Automotive CFD Conference (EACC) to be held at the Congress Center of Frankfurt/Main (Germany) on the 5th and 6th July 2007.

Simulation Driven Product Development has become a key success factor in a highly competitive marketplace, and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a central element in this process.

Covering all aspects of CFD plus a selection of related simulation techniques, the 3rd EACC offers you a unique opportunity to get an update on the latest technologies in Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) for the Automotive Industry.

• Experience leading keynote speakers outlining CAE technology advances in automotive product development
• Hear about the most recent applications and technologies, trends and get best practice recommendations from industrial experts

Since Fluent Inc. became a wholly-owned subsidiary of ANSYS, Inc. in May 2006, the EACC 2007 will cover an extended range of applications and success stories. This invitation goes to the communities of FLUENT, ANSYS CFX and ANSYS ICEM CFD. The event will therefore bring together the expertise of all three groups. This combination will result in a great showcase for numerous leading-edge automotive CFD applications and achievements.

The success of the earlier EACC events predominantly traces back to the high-quality papers submitted by CFD practitioners from all over the world. Again, the contributions will be published in a Printed Proceedings Book and released on a Conference CD.

This is a great opportunity to share your personal work and expose your company’s strengths on an international stage.

The participation is open, and you are invited to play a vital role in this conference by presenting a paper!

We are looking for submissions of papers on all aspects of automotive engineering and for all vehicles on roads, rails, racetrack or off-highway. A contribution should showcase the advances and benefits of using CFD simulations on their own or in combination with other methods. The programme will comprise submitted and invited papers.

All conference presenters will get free admittance!

In addition there will be a substantial award of a prize for:

In order to participate, please send your paper title and a synopsis (up to 250 words) not later than February 2, 2007 to eacc-paper@fluent.com.
